makeup review

smashbox camera ready cc cream

i use smashbox primer underneath. (yes, i went back to the expensive stuff after a daliance with anti-chafind cream.)

this stuff is good. good coverage, stays on all day, does not give you a heavy look.

recommend.

Re: makeup review

  • Yeah, it pays to spend a bit more for things.  I love Laura Mercier's primer.

I also came to the realization (weekly basis) that I have enough make up for several lifetimes.  Let's all say it together: "DUH!"
  • I tried this and it was way too yellow for my skin. :(

    Damn my rosy cheeks.
  • I actually keep using the anti-chafe.  It really seems to control the oil better (it seems to stay longer than the Smashbox did) and make my makeup go on lots smoother.

Before I switched to MUFE's full coverage, I used the Smashbox camera ready and I liked it as well.

Good to know.  I have rosy cheeks as well.  It would probably not work for me either.

I just figured out BB cream and now I have to google CC cream?
  • @6fsn I don't think there is really any difference, between tinted moisturizers, bb creams and cc creams.  Not in the american versions anyway.  People will tout the benefit of additional items added to the creams but they're all to basically cover up or enhance your natural amazingness and hide bad things.

    Same thing, different name.
