Venues in Burbs

Ladies, I'm curious if anyone has recommendations for rustic/country venues in the northwest suburbs or somewhat close to them??  Or basically anything other than the "typical" venue...Thanks!!

Rustic/country might be Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake, The Vehe Farm in Deer Park, perhaps Kemper Lakes in Kildeer, or Independence Grove in Libertyville. 

 "Out of the box" suburban venues could be The Metropolis Ballroom in Arlington Heights, Starline Factory in Harvard, (far, but it literally sits at the end of the Metra line, so easy commuting), The Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, The Cuneo Mansion in Vernon Hills, the Lehmann Mansion in Lake Villa, the Armour House in Lake Forest, The Onion Pub in Barrington, The Redfield Estate in Glenview, or The Makray in Barrington,  to name a few.
