Bachelorette Party Ideas

Hi :) I am putting together a bachelorette party for my bff in August. She is not much of a drinker so I am looking for some suggestions on other fun things to do then the typical dinner and hitting the bars... I was thinking a day spa or a show maybe. Anyone have any suggestions for a great girls night out?
Thanks!!

Re: Bachelorette Party Ideas

  • Havinng an early breakfast then spa day, maybe lunch, shopping then having a sleep over in a hotel suite would be fun. You could have a passion party or something, maybe have a few drinks or a wine tasting. That is always dun ideas. Depends where you plan on having it too. Best of luck!

  • My FSIL's MOH threw a lingerie party for her. It was fun, my FSIL loved it because she got a ton of lingerie.

  • I personally LOOOVEE the idea of a lingerie party and I'm hoping that is what my bridesmaids are planning (they are keeping it a surprise!). But I just threw a bachelorette party for my best friend and did a Pure Romance party in a hotel room. Everyone had a blast and we ended up walking to the bars later, but you don't have to do that. I would honestly say most of the girls with us would have preferred hanging out at the hotel all night anyway. It's not as loud or crowded and you can definitely save money that way!
  • I threw a bachelorette party for my friend in the fall.  We rented a hotel room, had some drinks and food, played a few games (diy pin the macho on the man and a quiz game where I had asked her fiance to answer questions about their relationship), and then took the $5 limo to station square.  It was nice because the people who didn't want to bar hop were still able to participate in the pre-bar fun.
  • I have no idea what we are doing for my bachelorette party yet, but we have thrown around some ideas.  We have talked about renting a house and doing a weekend in Deep Creek, MD. You could always do a day trip to Erie or Ohipyle or something like that too!! We have also talked about going to the Rivers Casino for dinner and some gambling before heading out for the night! Good luck planning!!
  • Those are all really great ideas!! Thank you so much! :)
