Hey ladies I went for my first fitting yesterday. The fitting itself went well. The lady doing the alteration kinda rubbed me the right way. I was unaware I had to pay the day of the fitting. I was pissed cause they never informed me of that. The day I bought my dress, alterations came out while I was in my dress and told me all that would need to be down. I asked her that day how much was I looking at. She told me that she couldnt tell me until my fitting. So I was under the impression that I pat when I picked it up. So here I am tired as hell, had worked night shift and had got off at 8am. Had to go all the way on the other side of town to my FSIL to get my dress from her house. My fitting was at 12 and I had to be back at work at 3. So I only had about a hour and half of sleep before the fitting and had to be back at work so a girl was tired and frustrated. So, she tells me to get in my gown shoes and undergarments so she could see what all needed to done and to give me a price. I told her ok but i wasnt gone able to pay until next friday. She says ok.So long story short for a hem, corset, and to take the neck line in some she quoted me $300.00. So after she gave me the price, she asks how I would be paying. I politely reminded her that I was not paying anything today. Again she says ok. So im getting back into my clothes and come out the dressing room. She hand me this piece of paper and tells me to take it to the front so someone can ring me out. Yall, I lost it. I said how many times do I have ro tell you im not paying for shit right now. This bitch gone have the nerve to say she forgot. I said if u that forgetful im not sure if I want u working on my damn dress dumb fool. Yall I was pissed. Now thinking about looking elsewhere. Overall Im now excited about my dress. Cant wait to wear it while im all dolled up lol with my veil and everything. So heres a pic of me with the dress on...
