Hi All! Hope everyone has been doing welll! We got our invitations last week, I love them, and we were able to find a vocalist for our ceremony, which I am very relieved about. This Saturday is my bridal shower :):):) and bachelorette party :):):) I am getting really excited!

What's new with everyone? MD you're probably the next wedding coming up, how are things?

    That's super exciting!! Have fun at your shower and bachelorette party!

    My parents came into town last weekend and they helped us finish making and packaging our caramel favors. Yay!! I had my second dress fitting as well and I absolutely love the bustle!

    wow everyone is being productive! yay!

    My wedding is in 17 days (EEK) and honeslty I havent done much because my PhD defense is coming up.  We are trying to nail down a few stragglers, but it looks like we will have about 80 of our 100 invitees at teh wedding.  I've mostly been paying vendors and putting together a tentative seat chart.  My last dress fitting went well so now i just have to practice walking in my shoes a bit, wrap bridal party gifts...and breathe !

    I've been such a slacker on this site - I've been very wrapped up with my job and the wedding planning to sign on!  MD and I are in the same boat - just over 2 weeks until the big day!

    I had my shower during St. Paddy's day weekend - it was great!  It was a little overwhelming (it's odd being the center of attention) so I was nervous... but everyone had a great time and it was a GORGEOUS day!  

    We have about 150 confirmed so far.. we'll probably be at 175 for the wedding, which is what we wanted.  This weekend I'm going to start working on our escort cards and wrapping bridal party gifts as well.  We have our ceremony participants picked out (family and friends) so I should probably get small gifts for them as well.  I feel like I'm running out of time!!!!!!!

    Ditto on the being busy with other stuff. We have a month and a half to go and on one hand that doesn't seem to be enough time and on the other hand we're still a little far away for it to be "real." 

    We're meeting with our venue and caterer this weekend to iron out final details and just waiting for those remaining RSVPs to come in. Then we'll be finalizing the seating chart and DJ song requests.

    I had my 3rd dress fitting on monday and will have my 4th(better be last) fitting in two weeks.. eek
    My bridal party gifts are about done! Just need to do final touches and wrap them.
    My bachelorette party is Saturday.

    Everything else is taking the backburner to house stuff.

    There is wayyy to much going on at once!
