Mason Jars

Hey Ladies! I don't know who all is using mason jars for their wedding but I wanted to pass along this little tip! I am using the blue mason jars for my centerpieces for my wedding and have had my heart set on using the old mason jar mugs for my FI and myself at the reception. I did find two clear mugs but they are so small! But anyways, I am in love with Classico spaghetti sauce and it conveniently comes in a Atlas mason jar. So today after dinner I soaked off the label and printed dates and now have my FI and myself two perfect mason jars for our reception! How convenient to get a two-for-one deal!

I have been saving jars of all shapes and sizes for my wedding reception.  I am using them as part of the centerpieces as well as scattered around the room.  I'm going for the romantic enchanted forrest theme for my wedding.  So far I'm at 70+ jars and my goal is for 100-120.  I have all my friends and family saving jars.  It's a great 2 for 1 purchase.  First it's yummy and then it's practical!!

Keep an eye on Craigslist! I got two batches off of there and most were old collectors that just didn't want them around their house anymore! We were able to haggle a better price! GL!

I am getting married next saturday and am using mason jars as drinking glasses. I have about 160 total. I am planning to sell them after the wedding though I dont know the price yet or exactly how many I will have (I think a family member might want a 2-3 dozen). If anyone is interested let me know.

When you decide on a price please let me know! I plan on using mason jars and am just beginning the process of trying to track a bunch down. Congratulations!
