me and my soon to be husband are tight on money and i wanted lotus flower centerpieces well i couldnt get lotus flowers or crepe paper to make them with so i have made carnation looking flowers out of coffee filters plant tye floral wrap and colored the flowers purple and green. then i also decorated cups to put candy in using peel and stick foam paper the are purple and green with gliter and it looks really nice for my bridesmaid gifts decorating blank tote bags and for my gift to my husband taking a piece of wood put our picture on it and doiing a wood burn design around it. so excited my whole wedding is only costing about $632.80 if anyone needs any help with ideas im willing to try and help them out. ~11-19-11~
