We got our first RSVP card back just now.  It was from a good friend & her husband (the two invited guests) who have  three small children, one of whom screams pretty much all the time and they can't take anywhere.   She wrote in on the # of guests line that 7 guests would be coming and then hand wrote "We can't wait to be there with all three boys. And my parents love your venue so I figured it would be ok if they come too, right?"   Of course on the back she wrote "Just Kidding. Just the 2 of us.  Can't Wait."

My day = made.

LOL It's one of those things where you get super pissed while reading and then there is that huge sigh of relief when you get to the end. WHEW

My cousin did this on her RSVP! She wrote something like "2 parents + 4 kids + 1 sitter" and then on the back "Just kidding, can't wait for some adult time!" 

I was totally punked and it was hilarious!

Her Cats will not attend (she's chronically single but a good sport about it)

And then checked off multiple options of every meal choice, and put (I get hungry!) at the bottom. I love funny RSVPs!

Hahahaha. My brother addressed our invite to his wedding (I was a bridesmaid) to "Mr. Fiance's Name & Guest". It was hilarious. So when I sent the RSVP back I put "8". Then at the wedding, FI's escort card said, "FI's Name & Entourage".

Your friend is awesome, although I personally would have sent it to arrive on April Fools Day. I definitely breathed a sigh of relief for you when I got to the end of the post.

I've posted before how our RSVPs unintentionally made it look like kids were on the meal options. I had a friend respond with an arrow pointed at the "children" option and a note "Nice touch but no thanks- they give me indigestion every time"

I love this one--especially checking every food option. My sister wrote "+1 dog?" on hers and it made me smile.
