Ugh... not my day

Just got back from shopping and got nothing.   I tried on like 10 dresses - and I looked awful in all of them!  Why are dresses so hard? You'd think they'd be one of the easier things to buy.   So I guess I have to figure something out from my own clothes - which I'm not thrilled about.

Oh, and to top it off - I have 3 huge zits on my chin that I swear have gotten bigger since this morning.  FML.

ugh- I hate that.  and the pimp thing- always happens to me right before I have anywhere nice to go.  bleh- I feel your pain.

I'm sure you'll find something in your closet- maybe a darker colored summer dress with stockings and a cardigan over top?

Oh.. just tonight.  I know - last minute.  But I thought I could find something!  I mean - I can figure out something from what I have at home.  It's just not quite right.

Ugh, sorry you didn't have any luck finding a dress. I am convinced that so many clothes look better on the hanger than they do on real people. I like Sara's suggestion- maybe dressy boots, or thicker tights, something along those lines? Or how about a skirt, or even black pants with a nice, dressy top?

I feel your pain. I hate it with a passion finding dresses. My body does not like dresses! But my problem is when I do need a dress I go straight to J.Crew or Banana and end up spending way to much.
