Has anyone used email or something like paperless post for the Save the Dates? We will mail the actual invitations. Just curious if this has been done and what your experience was like.

    Nope. Since STDs aren't mandatory. You could even just do word of mouth for Save the Dates for just your VIPS

    I would either skip STDs or send paper STDs.  They are very affordable through sites like Vista Print.  My friend sent an invitation through Paperless Post, and I got several annoying spam messages from them as a result.
