Dress Shopping with Mom

My mom is in town and we went dress shopping yesterday

2 places Lilly's were we could not take pics and Davids where we could

here are a couple shots from Davids of a couple i like... 

i did find a pic of the dress that i love from Lilly off their website

it bothers me that the Lilly's dresses are made in china

OMG....Y make it so difficult to choose. You look gorg in all of them but I love dress #3. Its something about that one strap. They all are so elegant looking!!!

I love the one shoulder dress from DBs too.   It gives you the vavoom look.  :}  The dress from Lilly's is very pretty but I feel you on the China thing.

vee is dress # 1 the same as the dress from lily's (above it)?  I swear I must've back n' forthed bout 4 times comparing them.  If not they look hella similar.     I'm torn, but if you're still taking votes #1 speaks to everything I love about looking at brides, just very bridey, it makes me smile.   #2 does nothing for you.  #3 I don't wanna like it but dammit what that thing is doing to the girls and your waist and hips?  like in the other 2 I can't see that you're shaped like an hour glass, chile #3 is giving me life and I really didn't wanna like her.  lol!  that's your silhouette gawgeous!!

sultryzulu thanks lol the Lilly's dress and dress #1 are close but the Lilly's dress was off the chain its the one to beat.... 

#3 is my 2nd choice every one seems to love that one

lemme clarify lol!  I don't love the dress, I do, however love what it accomplishes (brings out every bit of your brickhouseishness)   them other ones are pretty but were it not for the thing dress number 3, is doing I'd have no idea you were working with some ping, pow, dayum.  Actually between this and the fact that curvy girls are encouraged to hide instead of flaunt those curves I secretly hope you try on mermaid or trumpet.

sultryzulu i tried a trumpet/mermaid yeah i look like a marshmallow not cute at all i dont have much by way of hips so the ball gown hides my lack of hips

I'm with everybody else, I like #3 from DB. Can u buy a hoop of some sort to make the skirt flair out more like it does in the dress from Lilly's?
