inexpensive invites

so i got some invite samples the other day from wedding paper divas and annas bridal bargins after getting them in the mail none of them really catches my eye they are more casual and plain looking, i dont want super formal invites but i dont want super casual either and nothing has caught my eye. i dont want to spent a fortune on them and the diy ones i have seen look ugly. 

does anyone have any suggestions where i can look besides those 2 places i have seen some at party city and hallmark but those again are on the pricey side. i am having an evening wedding end of next june its a full sit down dinner but not black tie

It depends on how cheap  you want. Walmart, Joanns, michaels all have very nice invitations for cheap. We're doing Walmart ones for $17 for 25 of them. They have ones that are like $20 for 50 but just depends on the ones you want. But those you'd have to print yourself or pay someone to print. I found mine in etsy. There are a ton a designers that vary in price. Mine were like $1.80 for it all, but she also had a price for getting the digital files and printing on your own or through vista print which could save more if you have a large guestlist

I used minted.com for my save the dates and was so happy with the final product and their customer service.  I looked into them for the wedding but we decided to go more formal.

I ordered DIY ones from gartnerstudios.com. They have some really cheap ones that look nice like a set of 50 invitations, envelopes, rsvp cards and rsvp envelopes for $12.50, plus PARTY25 coupon code gets you 25% off.

I ordered a printable version on Etsy. It was $38 for the invite and the RSVP with unlimited edits.I'll link it below. Mine was in Black and Yellow though. The once it was finished I had them printed at Staples.

We got ours from zazzle.com - they turned out great!! Everything is customizable and the printing turned out really good . They were delivered very fast too.
