Bellagio Wedding?

Hello everyone!

My fiancé and I are thinking of booking our wedding at the Bellagio.  There will be just the two of us - we're not going to tell anyone until we get back home to Scotland!

I was considering the 'just the two of us' package on the fountain court yard.  I thought it all seemed great, however I started watching some videos on youtube and I'm beginning to wonder whether or not this is the venue for us?  I'm not sure if some of its a bit cheesy for us?  With the fountain show song?  Especially seen as you can't chose the song, it could be anything!  I really don't mean to offend anyone, I've seen some great videos and the place looks amazing, I'm just not sure if it's for us? My fiancé and I are very laid back and low key, there will be just us there, I want it to be classy but definitely not cheesy.  I'm not sure I'd be able to hold my laugh in if the Titanic theme tune started blasting out as we say I do!  Nothing against Celine Dion, just not a song I'd chose for myself!

Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.  We need to book soon, I want to be sure I make the right decision.  Thanks in advance...

What made you consider the bellagio as an option? There are so many options for ceremonies with just the two of you. I kinda like the idea of the 'random song' and if the look of the bellagio is what you are after I would suggest keeping your ceremony there.

Im going to be a belliagio bride. That being said there are many options for small weddings maybe look into the traveling minister then you could get married in front and check the schedule for a song u like. If it were just me and my fiance I would have chosen the Venetian waterfall or the mgm water wall.

My fiancé would prefer not to get married in a chapel so we thought the courtyard at the Bellagio was ideal because its outside and its so beautiful.  To be honest I was all for it until I watched the videos with the different songs.  I guess we both just don't want any fuss - hence the reason its just the two of us!

I will have a look at some of your suggestions, thanks again.

Hi, I'm in Glasgow. I'm not long back from getting married in Caesars Juno Garden. I didn't want a chapel location either (or much fuss!) and the garden was lovely. I think the Bellagio would be lovely, regardless of the song. What date are you thinking of? Would there be a chance of finding out a few months in advance what the song would be?

Congratulations!  Hope you're enjoying married life

It sounds lovely.  Did you have any guests?  We're looking at 12th April 2014.  I never thought about asking for the schedule in advance, the only slots available is 3pm and I think a slightly later one, so it would only really be a choice between two songs anyway!

Thanks! I think they play the same song every 30 mins for a set number of days/weeks. I could be wrong though but the few times I've been for a week at a time I've always heard the same song for the duration we were there. It may be too early if you are looking to book now, just a thought that they may have it planned a few months in advance. We had 9 guests, just close family.

I think that you can get married onto of the Eiffel Tower overlooking the Strip.  It would be unique and nothing similar to a chapel.  Or you could look into the Valley of Fire packages.
