The Signature at MGM Grand - A: We tried checking in our room at the airport with another couple who also flew in with us. The other couple were able to check in there, but for some reason due to our room request (2 adjoining), we had to check in at the property itself. It took awhile for him to find 2 rooms together that we had needed, but finally did after about 20 minutes of confusion he was able to find a great room with a balcony overlooking the strip. Our rooms were amazing and all of our guests who stayed there also loved their rooms and the properties. It was very nice to have the quieter hotel to stay in, but then able to take a 5 min walk via indoor walkway to get to the MGM pools, casino and other shops they have. We hung out with a large group of people at the lazy river in MGM on Tuesday and Wednesday and it was a great time. It was also not nearly as busy as it is on the weekends, which was very appreciated, as I'm not a fan of large crowds.
Marriage Licensing Bureau - A+: We had applied online a couple weeks before arriving in Vegas. We took a limo there, it was part of our package, and no one else was there, so we were in and out in 5 mins. Due to the little bit of time it took to get our license, we were also able to stop at a Walgreens to pick up some beverages and incidentals that we had forgot or didn't think about, at home.
Gordon Ramsey's BURGR - A+: They are located in Planet Hollywood. The food here was amazing! It was so good. A bit pricey, but when you compare it to other Vegas prices for food, it fit right inline. We (4 of us) each ordered a burger and 2 orders of fries to share. We could have easily done with 1 order of fries to share for 4 people. Actually hubby and I would have been fine sharing a burger as well.
Aria Buffet - A+: We played MyVegas on FB prior to arriving in Vegas, so we had some free rewards to use while we were there and this was one of them. We added on the unlimited beverage option for $12.99 each, which was well worth it. I personally can't say much about the food, as I'm a crab leg junkie and that is what my plate was filled with the couple trips I made to the buffet, along with some sushi. But my hubby and our friend who also came with us, had more of a variety than I did and loved it all. Especially the Asian Food, fish & chips and prime rib.
PBR Rock Bar & Grill in The Shoppes At Planet Hollywood - A: We let everyone know that this is where they could find us Wednesday Night, and almost everyone showed up there. We had purchased the wristband Groupons for all you can drink all day, before getting to Vegas, so the majority of us had these to use. Some of us also ate dinner here as well. The food was really good and the drinks (especially the all you can drink for $24.99) were great as well. We also got our own bar and bartender, Jennifer, who was extremely nice and a great bartender. We talked to her about going somewhere the next night after the wedding, and she said if we needed it, she could hook us up with a bar in MB. I was in contact with her on our wedding day, and we ended up not going to that bar, but it was very much appreciated that she offered and actually gave me her phone number and stayed in contact. There are good people in Vegas.
