I love anything that can be thrown into the crockpot. I would eat a crockpot meal every day of the week if I could. My favorite is probably Chicken Taco Chili from ST. 

What are your plans for tonight?

My assface coworker called out so I'm stuck here until 5, which I'm not happy about. When I get home I'll throw something together for dinner and catch up on my DVR until 8:30 which is when the Eagles play. I probably won't be able to stay awake for the whole game, I hate late football games

What are you most looking forward to this fall?

All things pumpkin, candy corn, spending the weekend with Bri, Sous, and Sak, Thanksgiving, more Eagles football, Devils hockey

I would KILL to have Friday off every week. I already work pretty long hours (7ish-4ish) but I would absolutely prefer longer hours 4 days a week in order to have a 3 day weekend.

What shoes are you wearing? Not wearing shoes at the moment, just fun socks. If I put on shoes today, they will be sneakers.

What did you have for dinner last night? Soup and salad at Olive Garden - or a few bites of it, at least. My stomach is still giving me trouble, so I haven't had much of an appetite.

What is your favorite dinner to cook? Anything in the slow cooker. There is this slow cooker cheesy chicken that I serve over egg noodles with a side salad that I LOVE. (Clicky) Instead of Campbell's soup I put in salsa con queso and possibly some shredded cheddar. So easy and yummy.

What are your plans for tonight? Stuuuuudyin'. And possibly looking for a dress for some friends' upcoming wedding if I start feeling better.

What are you most looking forward to this fall? Renn Fest with my brother next weekend, friends' wedding in a couple weeks, and then just surviving the rest of the semester. After October 4 or so, I don't care about anything until after finals.

If you were the $400 million Powerball winner last night, what's the first thing you'd do with the money? Pay for my tuition. Buy myself a nice house in the country and get a puppy. Do some shopping (I desperately need some clothes and shoes). And probably save/invest some and donate the rest.

Would you rather work longer hours Monday through Thursday and have Friday off or keep things the way they are now? I love the staff nurse schedule of 3 12-hour shifts, so I'll stick with that. But yeah, I like to consolidate my time so I am getting up early for work as few days as possible.

On the agenda tonight is going shopping for a few props for when we take photos of our Etsy shop invitations. I love trying new recipes...but my absolute favorite thing to cook is Thanksgiving Dinner. Even if we have plans with family elsewhere (like this year), we always host a "friends Thanksgiving" the following weekend just so I can cook it. I friggin' love Thanksgiving dinner!

Not much. Probably going with H to the dog park. It feels like fall today - I think it's supposed to only get up to like 66? - so I love being outside.

 

What are you most looking forward to this fall?

EVERYTHING! This is me absolute favorite season. Scarves, pumpkins, turning leaves, the bite in the air, cooler temps, drinking hot coffee again, leggings, boots and long walks. It just seems like everyone is in a good mood this time of year. The holidays are around the corner and everyone has something to look forward to!

of course we'd pay off our debt - but for something fun? I'd purchase an Alaskan cruise for the entire family on H's side. We've been talking about doing it for years...and we're probably doing it next June. It would just be nice to cover the costs and get nice rooms for everyone. I know it would mean a lot to H's mom...and we'd have some awesome memories!

Who's your favorite president?

I don't know.  I HATED Bush.  I liked Clinton a lot, but was still too young to really FOLLOW his policies closely.  I like Obama, but I don't particularly like the way he's handled certain things.  Then again, I don't think anyone could've walked into his Presidency (post Bush destruction) and done a particularly GREAT job.

A highly different way from how my family cooks. Let's put it this way. My grandma went blind when I was in high school, and I typed up her handwritten recipes in really big font, bold, lots of space, etc. I ran across a recipe for a homemade graham cracker crust. There were all the ingredients, half the measurements, the directions, etc. ... and at the bottom, in her biggest, clearest, most frustrated handwriting, were the words "BUY ONE."

@keptinstitches - That is hilarious.  I used to get so frustrated with my grandmother's recipes because they were just full of phrases like "some salt", "a bunch of flour", "a wee bit of vanilla", "a lot of sugar", etc.  But, come to think on it, it drives H nuts that I quantify things like this (other than baking...which I'm precise with) in life.

I wasn't since I didn't buy a ticket. Pay off all debt, my mom's debt, buy a new house and invest the rest.

Would you rather work longer hours Monday through Thursday and have Friday off or keep things the way they are now?

My hours change from June-Sept. I have summer hours where I am done at 11 am on Fridays. Makes for some long days prior to that, but worth it.

Well right now I work Monday - Wednesday and have Thursday - Sunday off so I'd keep things the way they are now. But if I worked a regular 40 hour work week I'd rather work longer hours and have Friday off.
