Younger SIL called DH yesterday to ask his advice about some things financial. Apparently, she is separating and will be filing for divorce from her husband.
BIL is an idiot. He spends money recklessly and in the past gave her an STD which he claimed he got from a toilet seat. Most recently, he was cheating on her (although we're not sure if this is actually means sex or just spending too much time with other women).
Most recently, he and SIL took a trip to CA with some friends. Everyone was drinking, but SIL and BIL said that they were going to limit themselves. BIL cut himself off and said he was going to go back to their hotel. A short time later, everyone else shows up and BIL is gone. He comes back a little while later and was at a strip club. SIL was pissed.
When DH told me that I laughed. Seriously, what sort of idiot does that? I have no problems with strip clubs but I'd be pissed if DH said "I'm going to go back and sleep" then turned around and hit up a strip club alone.
I'm curious to see what is going to happen with her IL's. SIL and BIL rely a lot on his parents- they provide a lot of childcare, financial resources, etc.
