What's going on kids?

I watched that "Hostages" show last night.  I'm going to give it one more episode.  They need to back the hell off on the music.  It's distracting.

The kiddo is in the phase where he knows everything and we know nothing. Mine lasted until I was 20.  I'm already tired. 

I'm off tomorrow, YAY!  But I have a lot to do.  I'm hoping I'll have the time to start looking for materials for DefConn's Halloween costume.

Son is in the same phase and it's exhausting.

This morning I am feeling 98%.  Yay and boo.  Yay because I was so tired of being sick but boo because now I have to clean the house.  But sort of yay because when I get the house clean, I can get out my fall decorations.

Decent evening last night that ran me ragged. Just a lot to do and not much time to do it. Yay for multi-tasking!

H and I are looking into going to see my sister, her FI and meet his family for Thanksgiving. I hope he has the time off. I really want to go. Sis needs to see DD, I really want to see her, I need to be a buffer between her and our mom and I want to meet the FI's family.

Tonight H has class so I get a little bit of relaxation time. I plan on chopping all of the veggies for the week's meals/salads and then work on more felt boards for DD.

M2 is going to the dentist for the first time today.  Could be interesting.  I hope they don't report me for child abuse.  2 out of 3 have bruises on their face.

I found a small burst of energy to work on the guest room last night.  We have a deep cleaning scheduled for next week and I'm tempted to dust in there out of embarrassment.  The bookcases are disgusting since I don't think I dusted that room since we got new carpet a year ago.  I washed and changed all the bedding too.  I feel accomplished.  I still need to hang art and go through the sell/get rid of piles in there though

I honestly have no clue about M2.  We were at the playground and she started crying.  Max was trying to be a standing stud and fell into the cabinets.

I am so tired. I have a really hard time falling asleep and normally once I'm asleep I'm out. But last night I was woken up by DS who wanted to sleep in our bed (no) and the dogs who had to potty (thankfully DH got up with them). Then I had a 6:30 am teleconference I had to lead. I'm dragging today and I need it it be the weekend NOW.

The Bean is pushing through a new tooth, that combined with the jet lag has made the first full week back to real life really tiring for us. But I managed to get up and get to the 530 am exercise class. I feel better for it too.
Work tonight hopefully. The vacation made they last pay check a little little. Momma needs to rebuild the day to day buffer in the checking account.

Both kids are sick. Baby A with a sinus/ear infection and Baby L with a cold. Luckily Baby L is happy and has spent most of the morning either eating or snoozing. I feel awful for him.

@6fsn - is M2 drugged? she looks very calm. 

After Wolverine's first trip to the dentist at ~9-10mo, I've made DK take her. I think she was good at her last appointment, so maybe at that 2+ range they start to understand and you don't need to hold them down kicking and screaming...

She was not drugged!  She was very calm and let them count and scrape, but then did NOT like the toothbrush.  They ended up just using a regular toothbrush and skipped the floss.  I think it helped that she's seen 6let go a couple of times.

At the end they let her pick a toy out of a little penguin.  She picked 2 balls and kept telling everyone about her penguin balls.  We went to B&N to kill some time and she told them.  Then we went to pick up 6let from preschool and she was telling everyone about her penguin balls.

That is too cute, 6. I need to take Baby A. I hope he's as calm as she was, and I think he would be. He's always a trooper with medical stuff.

I also need to take DefConn.  I want to get through the ENT drama first.

The dentist has been surprisingly painless for us. DH thought I was all crazy for taking DS to a pediatric dentist instead of our regular one but honestly, if I don't have to console a crying child over a toothbrush I'm good. DS actually asked when he was going back because he wants another Mike Assy Monsters toothbrush.
