Who walks with the mother of the bride?

I have a question - my fiancé & I were just talking about this and I realized I have no idea!

Who is supposed to walk my mom to her seat? My dad is walking me down the aisle so she'll be by herself. Is it my fiancé, or my brother who is the best man?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

It can really be anyone. Usually I see an usher or brother do it. Ask your mom what she would like.

My father walked my mother down the aisle. Then my bridesmaids came down. During that time, my father walked around and came back and got me.

My son was a groomsman for my daughter's wedding, so he escorted me to my seat. The groom also volunteered to escort me. The short answer is that basically anyone can walk her to her seat.

It can be pretty much anyone: a groomsman, an usher, a family member, her husband (if that's not your father or your own escort), or even your father/escort. If it's the latter, he can escort your mother and then come back down the aisle to escort you.

She can walk by herself, if you have a sibling they could walk her to her seat, an usher, or whoever really.

I had my nephews how are in their 20's as ushers. I had the oldest one who is also the oldest grandchild escort my mom down the isle. It was a special moment for them.

I was going to have an usher walk my mom down, but I apparently forgot to tell him that, so he took his seat and my mom walked by herself. LOL. Whoops! At least that was really the only thing that went "wrong".
