Photo location in Southern MA or Northern RI

Hello! Does anyone know of any good locations to take photos in Southern MA or Northern RI in December? My photographer isn't from the area and I'm trying to figure out somewhere to go. Thanks!

  • I take pics of my kids at kind of a weird spot in Chepachet, its out of the way, its a big field with a historical cemetery, but it actually doesn't look like a cemetery its very rustic with a wrought iron fence and a worn white picket fence, and very tall grass, its public property so you are not trespassing.  Also, the roads on the way there are very windy and there are no utility poles and power lines to ruin the pics.  Also in town, there is a cute café or two that you could go to as part of your engagement session.  (So, you'd have pics in a big field, pics on the street with beautiful trees and winding roads as a back drop, and then top it off with pics of you and your fiancé enjoying hot chocolate in a cute café.

If that's too far, Lincoln Woods State Park is nice too.  There is also an awesome field with a split rail fence at the Fidelity Campus on Route 7 in Smithfield, but that would definitely be trespassing.

I think there is also a Christmas tree farm on Route 44 that I'm intrigued by...Knight Farm in Smithfield is an apple orchard and I think it would look very, very cool in the winter....tons of options :)
