Engagement Photo Questions

Hi Everyone!

I am looking for some help planning my engagement photos. My fiance and I would like them to be taken at a park near our home and are hoping to spend $250 or less. I know a lot of photographers include the pictures in their total wedding package, but we are not ready to book for our wedding and really want some fall engagement shots. I am hoping that someone can look over my list of requirements and suggest a good photographer for the jobs.

1) Located close enough to the Fair Lawn / Paramus area for it to be convenient

2) Can take fun / not overly posed shots

3) Is comfortable including our dog in some of the pictures

4) Shoots for at least 90 minutes

I know a lot of the times the engagement photos are to get you comfortable with the actual wedding photographer so you and your soon to be hubby feel comfortable the day of. If you like your epics do you think you will book that photographer for day of?

Yes, but we don't want to be committed to someone this far out from the wedding date if the pictures are not what we want.

I am using Jessica Oh. I dont think she would mind your dog being there but she does take very unique photos that can capture who you and your fiance are. As for time frame of the shoot and the pricing of just an eshoot you would have to ask her. I only know the information on her wedding package that she gave us.
