Appropriate Color of wedding dress

I am getting married and it is my second time. I'm 60, and don't want to wear a traditional wedding dress. I've seen a navy blue dress that I like. Does it really matter what color dress I wear?

You can wear whatever color you want regardless of your age or previous experience. I wore a hot pink gown. Navy sounds lovely.
