My Experience with WholeFlowers.com

This is hopefully my only bridezilla rant... I apologize if I sound like one. Our wedding is this Saturday (YAY!) and I just dealt with this and feel the need to get it off my chest. I'm sorry, I can't help it- I am so pissed off right now I feel the need to tell anyone and everyone considering wholesale in the future to not go to Whole Blossoms.com. 

I placed this order back in August. You put in what date you need the flowers by and what date your actual event is on. Everything was in order. I get out of work to find three voicemails (and three emails) two days ago (Monday) that one of my flower types had a bad growing season and the farm refused to ship it so I needed to pick a different one. Wtf, my flowers were to be delivered Wednesday and they are telling me this Monday. Ugh. So I pick the only other one that is the same color and wont kill my allergies. 

Then, LAST NIGHT (Tuesday) I get one email (not a call) from the same girl (name was Diana) I was working with with the first mess up, and she writes that the burgundy sunflowers that I wanted have the same issue. She is telling me this the DAY BEFORE the flowers were supposed to ARRIVE. (These flowers ship from all over) I am heartbroken because they were supposed to be the focal point of everything. Crushed. I write her right back and give her 3 possible replacement options and ask her if it is even possible for these to arrive by Wednesday because I need them by then. I never heard back. 

I had to call the company after work today (because I still hadn't heard back) and leave a message (I had her extension but she never answered). I get a call back about an hour later from some guy apologizing and reiterating what she said in the email. I said I already knew all that and wanted to know why I was never emailed back, or even called since this if now the day they were supposed to arrive and I only have half of my flower order. All he did was keep apologizing and I kept asking what the f*** is wrong with their company when they tell customers this late about these issues and he kept blaming it on the farm. Then he went to find Diana and I hear her speaking what sounded like angry words in spanish to him in the background and he gets back on and tells me that she never got my email. WTF NO. (I had emailed her back info before- why the problem now?) I told him it told me it was received and that was the same way I had conversed with her in the past. WTF. No explanation. 

In the end after getting nowhere I am having that part of my order refunded. There were no offers to fix the situation or apologize by way of taking money off my order. I just have to live with the fact that I have half my order and they got away with excuses, blaming the farms and not owning up to the fact that this company should be aware of the status of the farms they work with and if there are people with orders of a certain flower that is showing a bad growing season, you tell the people about it a week ahead of time- not the day before. I've never been that angry on the phone with a company before. So tell everyone to NOT USE WHOLEBLOSSOMS.COM. Terrible experience. So so so disappointed.

    Breathe! Relax. You're getting married to the love of your life in two days. :) Focus on the things you love about your wedding and eff the rest. Have a great time!
