Free program templates?!

I am trying to be a super saver with my wedding and just looked at programs today. They are insane if you don't do them yourself! Does anyone have any sites or templates of their own they would be willing to share with me? I'm in despreate need!! Thank you so much!!!

You can probably skip programs. The only reason we did them is that we had a Quaker wedding and needed to explain it to our non-Quaker guests. I made very simple programs that you could do in Word. Each was half a sheet of 8.5x11 paper (so two on one sheet). I just did black ink on nice textured cream-colored paper from Paper Source. It looked like this:

Wedding Date

A blurb about Quaker weddings

A listing of who's who

Thank you

I used free fonts from Font Squirrel, one script for headlines, one sans serif for the text portions, and then just centered the whole thing. They actually looked really nice.

You can also google "microsoft templates" and you'll get a bunch of options. If you have Publisher, you just download a template and fill in the blanks. That's what we did!

In order to save money I am skipping programs, but we are having a short ceremony and very small bridal party.   I decided to make my own invitations and found some free templates online, but didn't like any of them.  I ended up finding one I liked on etsy for $8. They had program templates as well, so you may want to check there for a low cost template.  Good luck!
