SO's jobs!

My FI just finished (well, hopefully, he turned in his dissertation at the end of September, but should hear back December/January) his Master's degree in a combination of history and sociology. He hopes to teach with it (and ideally be paid to teach while earning his PhD). Currently he works at a local community college as evening support staff. (I really suck at explaining his current job, lol) But he hopes to move into an adjunct position there if one is open when he officially gets his masters. 

He works nights (well, evenings. 5 - 9 or 10 pm). I have class Monday through Thursday until 4:30 (on Wednesdays, it's 6). My start time depends on the day, but we mostly only see each other when he gets home from work. Fridays are the days we can most likely spend together (he's off and I only have my internship for a few hours in the morning). We both spend a fair amount of time home alone, but I know it's what's best for us financially right now. His job pays well (for us) and has benefits and he has the possibility to move up. I'm a full time student and can only work so many hours a week, so I appreciate him going above and beyond (don't really know how to word it) while I finish school.
