Out of the Box Invites

For the type of wedding we're having, we don't need the traditional invitation set up.  I've been looking around for any low-cost, simple invites and I found ones the fiance and I BOTH love..  They're greeting cards from Costco that I was able customize.. Only issue.. there's no response card to send out.. Do I spend some more money/time on creating ones to include or just have the RSVP info in the invite? These cards are COMPLETELY customizable..

Re: Out of the Box Invites

  • I would just make your own from cardstock. Get it at Office Depot, Staples, or a craft store. Print it on your home printer. You could do them post card style so you don't need to find matching envelopes.

    I would definitely include something.

  • Do you need to give food choices prior to the wedding?  if so, I would suggest making your own rsvp cards for people to mail back.  there are some free templates online you can print on cardstock, or you can purchase inexpensive ones on a site like etsy.   You can make a simple one on word or a similar program printed onto cardstock.
  • Do you have a wedding website for electronic RSVPs? I would maybe give the link and a phone number for anybody who hates computers. Otherwise, what southern belle said. You could also print custom postcards (I've gotten them from VistaPrint before and they work well.)
