I had my first bridal shower yesterday! My bridesmaids put it on for me and it was so much fun. It was a small crowd, with just a few old school friends, my aunt, FSMIL, and her SIL and my mom. But it was great. I really enjoyed getting to see my old school friends, as we barely ever get to see each other any more. The games were fun, I got some awesome gifts, and ice cream cake (my favourite!). It was a great Sunday afternoon.
I'm going to brag a little bit, but I also have my thank-you cards for all the people who came to the shower finished already. I am such a procrastinator, so I knew that if I didn't go out and buy the cards today and make myself write in them I would never get it done. And that could not happen. So YAY me, I got them all done
