Nails

Hi I was wondering if anyone has gotten their fingers and toes done any where on the strip. If so where and how much? I'm leaving on a Saturday and getting married on a Wednesday so I really didn't want to get them done that far out. Thanks

Re: Nails

  • Best manicure I've gotten was the gellish one the Mirage salon.  It was about $80, but it lasted almost a month!

I've also done the salon at TI, don't remember how much, but they did a good job.  I didn't get gellish, just a regular manicure so it didn't last as long.

I would not recommend the salon at MGM, I did gellish on my fingers and toes because I was going on a business trip to Chile for 3 weeks, they were already chipping after four days!  And the pedicure they have you sit on a bench in the front, it was really uncomfortable.  It was about $240, that included the 20% tip.

  • I'm leaving this thursday and my wedding is on sunday so I am in the same boat as you. I want to get them done the day before the wedding. My BM and I are going to venture off the strip to get them done though. I can't fathom paying that much for a manicure. Not sure which salon I'll go to yet but I can let you know next week when I get back if you like...
  • Wow 80 is a bit much! I normally pay 35 for nails and toes in LA!

  • $80 was a lot, but you pay a premium for the hotel spas.  They are usually nicer than strip mall places and you get use of the spa for the day as well.  It was totally a splurge - I was up that day on craps!

  • I work on the strip so when I need to go before or after work I used to go to
    City Nail 3585 S Maryland Pkwy 702)731-3900
Across from City Nail is the Boulevard Mall (a lol ghetto) but has a nail salon.
These are not the glitzy day spas but City Nail has never done me wrong.
There I also a Regis at The Fashion Show Mall across from the Wynn
    Their# 702)733-1400
My co-worker just mentioned that the fashion show mall also has a main pedi bar. I don't have that exact # but the Fashion Show Mall # is 702)369-8382 and they can get you the #
You also have China town less than 5 minutes from the strip and there are numerous nail shops around there.
I haven't personally used Get Nailed 24/7 (702)221-8000 but know ppl who have. They're near the strip and have a website getnailed247.com

If there's anywhere you've seen online and want me to scope out on my way into work or home let m  know!

The college is near the strip, on Maryland Pkwy so there's tons of nail shops around there.

  • Sorry for the long post:/
  • I know where that's at every time we are in Vegas we go to that mall since it's a lot less crowded! I'm fine with ghetto if it saves $$ lol

  • City Nails is right across the street. It's around $20-25 for a pedi
  • I ended up going to Polished Nails Salon.

I had a gel polish manicure and a regular pedicure. My MOH got a gel polish manicure and another friend of mine got a pedicure. They took all 3 of us without an appointment. I ended up paying $75 after taxes and tip. She did a pretty decent job and was really nice. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that the polish has lifted and peeled already on my one finger after only 5 days. I would still go with that over a $80 manicure though.
  • awesome, this post is very helpful...i too would seek off the strip!  ;)
