Tell me your wording

and this is where I get stuck. I'd just like to know what your preferred line here is. I prefer more traditional and formal, however don't think I want to go with "request the honor of your presence".

  • If I remember correctly, "request the honor of your presence" is only used for weddings that are held in a house of worship. Otherwise, you should use "request the pleasure of your company."

    We had nontraditional, casual invitations that fit our wedding. They said "Bride and Groom invite you to their wedding." I just didn't really put a lot of thought into it.
