While we wait for pt. 2 of Heffa's birth story.  How's it hanging?

I'm off work with a very froggy, almost-has-no-voice DefConn.  I dropped the kiddo off at school this morning for a 2 day Outdoor Education trip.  He was ridiculously pumped.  Poor DefConn was so funny when we dropped the kiddo off because he started crying and it was his gravelly, froggy, honking mess of a cry.  It was hilarious and pathetic at the same time.

Man, I feel like I've accomplished more in my first 60 minutes at work, than I did all of yesterday.

I need to really dive in and do some job costing, but sitting here are some nice new plans I'd rather pull apart.  Weirdo.

H is thrilled because he got rid of his brace and he was told he could ride his bike by the doctor.  So we did that last night, and then went to a movie.  ON A TUESDAY. 

Movie review to come of course....because it's actually good.

I'm keeping son home from school today.  He was running a fever last night and has a nasty cough.  Now he says his throat is sore.  He coughed so hard last night he vomited.  Ugh.  This kid has missed more school (not counting our vacation last month) in two years of middle school than all 6 years of elementary combined.

DH and I have decided on our halloween costumes and ran around yesterday getting things for them.  Now I have to start the girls' costumes.  DD1 is going to be Ariel and her costume should be no problem.  DD2 is going to be Cinderella.  Hers will be quite a bit more time consuming.

Poor sick kids. 

6let had preschool so I took the other two to story time and the playground.  Rude woman from 2 wks ago with her 2 charges.  I don't know what this woman is like other times, but they walk into story time and the boys go crazy playing while she talks to some other woman.  Meanwhile the boys are taking toys from M2 and screaming and hitting and running crazy.
