Male in bridal party: What to wear

I have my male cousin who will be a part of my bridal party. Should he wear the same thing as the groomsmen even though he will be standing up on my side or something different? At this point, I was thinking of showing him what bridesmaids and groomsmen are going to wear and letting him decide. (He has an amazing fashion sense, so I have no worry's about what he may wear) Thanks for opinions:)

I am having my best guy friend in my wedding party! He is wearing a grey tux (the GMs are in black) with accents of my wedding color (blush). I didn't want him to blend with GM's because he is a part of MY wedding party and deserves to look as such! So glad im not the only one doing this!
