I have nothing to add.  The folks who posted in here had some substance beneath their condescending tones: Etiquette claims a B-list is rude (but people do it all the time). You will likely run into timing issues with the overlap of the RSVPs and it sounds risky.  At the end of the day you will be married and some people are going to have something do say no matter how many rules you follow.  

Thank you @AndreaJ200.  We aren't going to be doing the B list as we have agreed that it could be too risky.  What we plan to do is when the RSVP's start coming back - if there are more no's then we thought, we'll tell those of our bridal party that are single, that they can bring a date (most of the bridal party is married/engaged but there are a few w/out SO's). If we still need to make #'s we are just going to see if we can roll it over into an upgraded bar, etc.
