Preview of my Monograms!!!

I was going to try to wait until I got the finalized one, but I loved them so much I just wanted to share!  Only difference between these and the finalized ones are the watermark.  I figured you ladies wouldn't mind ;)

I was only suppose to get one with my package, but me and the soon to be Mr liked them so much, he suggested I get both!  ((Brownie points for him))

Hope ya'll like it as much as I do!

  • Thanks ladiess!!!  I'm so excited to put everything together.

@marsm4 I'm going to be using the monograms on my invitation, probably as a belly band or to seal the main envelope together.  I think I am also going to use it on my wedding program and more day-of stuff.

I'm evening thinking about printing the grey one on a canvas and placing it in our home.

  • Nice!  I used my monogram for my belly band on my invite as well.  It was hell trying to get those cut and printed and mounted to a pretty shimmery cardstock but it was my labor of love!  Everyone loved it!

so, personal opinion, if you're paying a pretty penny for words - they should be correct.  the last 6 invitations I've peeped had typos and/or grammatical errors in em, 4 of em were sarah's.  I can totally get why a bride might excited it enough for it to go unnoticed and she does beautiful work, ain't taking that from her but bro, if you charge people for words, the least you can do is use spellcheck.
  • Bo, I had a grammatical error in my FAQ card but it was my fault.  She does not do those checks.  She sends you the proofs several times for you to check it.  So if there are errors, it's the Brides fault if she doesn't catch it before final proofing.... ijs

don't mind me meems, you know it's one of a hundred of my irrational peeves.  makes sense that brides proof, it's their invitation, but this isn't what the brides do for a living, i'm tambout just basic accuracy (guh, what is "hatrimony" lol).   she posted samples to her blog with errors, which means she still hasn't read em.  sorry babe, I swear I'm not trying to go hard on her personally,  she does beautiful stuff.  she's an example just because that's who ya'll are discussing, really what I'm saying is your stationer should be reading their own work product.

    eta:  gmernting btw  :D
  • @sultryzulu Girl you know I did catch that "hatrimony" before she sent me the final proofs ((side eye and all)).  That was her only mistake on my invitations though and she was quick to fix it. Like @MissusD1116 said, Sarah does not do those checks. We have to send her word-for-word on what we want our invites to say. The "Hatrimony", however, was her fault because I know I triple checked my stuff before I sent it and checked the email I sent her. **Thanks the Lord for my partial OCD**

What you see on her blog are myactual invites, but she changes the name and dates on what you are able to see.

@cidefi Yes, you print them yourself.  I haven't decided yet if I'm going to print it at home or through Office Depot.

@Senecaf Thanks! There's a wall in the house that I already know I want to put up with our pictures and such, so I figure it can belong on there too ;)
