Accomodations

Hello...  Our wedding has turned out to be a lot bigger than we thought it would (typical I know)... Anyway, there are about 30 people coming from out of town.  We have room for the Bridal/Groom parties and immediate family but not for everyone else - leaves about 15 people without places to stay.  How do I tell them that they're going to have to get a hotel without hurting their feelings or making them not feel important?  The closest hotels are about 30 minutes away...  Thanks in advance!!!

You are under no obligation to provide anyone with a place to stay.  Most people expect to get a hotel when they travel for a wedding, even if they normally stay with you when they come to town.  

Is there really nothing closer than 30 minutes?  Knowing people will be travelling, it would have been smart to pick a venue that is convenient to hotels.  Pick a nearby hotel and arrange a room block.  Then put a link to the room block on your website or include a card with your invitation.

Thank you!  We live in the country and that is truely the closest to our Church & reception location...  I will do the link on their invitations, thanks!
