Love the dress in person, seeing pictures it sucks?

I have 4 dresses I have liked on me....until I see a picture of myself in it and realize they all make me look even fatter then I thought:(

Anyone else have this issue?

But you liked them when you saw them in the mirror?  It was probably just an unflattering picture or angle or something.

I always realize i'm much bigger then I thought when I look at pictures:/ And I'm not someone who wears extra weight well

Pictures make everyone look bigger, especially if you don't realize they are being taken. If you felt comfortable while looking in the mirror at it, and you liked them, go with that.

It's probably not the dress, it's just that you either aren't comfortable with seeing photos of yourself.  sometimes, when I look in the mirror, I think, holy crap, I look SEXY.  Then, someone snaps a photo of me, and it reminds me that I'm chubbier than I realized.   I forgot that my butt is that big, because I'm not looking at it in the mirror every day.

I feel that way all the time. I think it is a matter of feeling comfortable with how you look in pictures. When I look at myself I don't feel like I am as big as I look in pictures.  I hate it when anyone takes pictures of me and I have yet to see a picture taken by someone else that doesn't make me feel horrible about myself.  I am taking my best friend with me to try on dresses and I am going to have her take pictures of me so that I will know up front how I will look.

I have the same problem with hating how I look in pictures. It took a long time for me to come around to this, but try to think of it this way: in person, you feel good. The people you love and care about most are going to be there with you in person on your wedding day. They know you and love you just the way you are, and they will think you look beautiful. In the end, that's all that really matters.
