My matron of honor chose to take on the making and printing of the inserts to be included with the invites such as accommodations, etc. The RSVP were not included. I looked at what we had and sent them out not realizing there was no RSVP until after they were sent out. What do I do? What is the best way to handle this? Do we send out a postcard, letter, e-mail, or call? Please help ASAP!

Re: Help! Forgot to inlude RSVP inormation!

  • I think it really has to do on how formal your wedding is. If it is a formal wedding, I would send out an RSVP postcard, just put the postcard in an envelope and send it out, and then they could send you back the postcard if they RSVP or not.

If the wedding is not as formal, I would call each person and let them know what happened and then give them instructions on how to RSVP.

Or you could always call people and explain to them that you had forgotten the RSVP thing, then send out a postcard as well. It's really you're preference. I think it has to do with the formality of the wedding though.

  • I would mail out the RSVP card (and postage paid envelope!) in another envelope with a short, pre printed note explaining the situation.

Going forward, you and your FI should probably handle all of the important details!
