Justice of the Peace or Judge

Hi all, I'm a long-time reader, first time poster.  I appreciate all the advice you've given to me via other posts  My fiancé and I are very secular really want a judge or justice of the peace to marry us.  Does anyone know or had any experiences (positive or negative) with judges or justices of the peace in Harris or Montgomery Counties?

J.P. Green (Precinct 7, Place 1) officiated my best friend's wedding in 2009 in a secular ceremony and did it well without any issues. She costs $200 now, as do some of the other JPs I called around for. The rest go up from $250 and on. 

I am looking for an officiant below that who will do a secular ceremony, but the cheapest I've found is $175 in a pastor who is just willing to do a secular ceremony.

We decided to go with Hilary Green from Precinct 7, Place 1.  She's $250 for a Sunday wedding during the holidays but says she will only do a religious ceremony if someone requests one.  She seems really down to earth and gave some good advice, so we went with her.
