Hi! This is my first time posting so I hope I'm doing this right! haha

I am having a dilemma with my bridesmaid dresses. Here is the dress (http://www.billlevkoff.com/style/bridesmaid-dress/586). I am ordering from Victoria's Bridal Couture online because of their heavily reduced prices. What's concerning me is the size chart for the BL dresses on this site and every other site I've visited that sells these dresses. According to the size charts, it was telling my street size 2 BM that she's an 8(!) and my size 10 BM she's a 16. However, when my size 2 BM tried on the exact same dress in an 8 at the store it was literally falling off of her and she had to be clipped in. My size 10 BM fit into the sample size 10 in the dress though it was pretty tight; knowing this though, a size 16 though would be huge on her I would think. Does anyone have any info on this particular dress or the satin-style BL dresses for sizing? It's looking like maybe 1 size above their street size is going to work based solely on what we saw in the stores, but I just wanted to see if anyone had additional info I should consider. This size chart is ridiculous! Thanks ladies!

Re: Bill Levkoff Style 586

  • My wedding dress was actually a Bill Levkoff bridesmaid dress, and the size chart said 10, even though my street size is a 6, so that's what I ordered. I had to have the darn thing taken in about 2 sizes everywhere. But keep in mind those sample dresses get stretched out over time, so one size up to be safe might be the thing to do.
