My wedding is 7/5 at Maritime Parc in Jersey City, so the majority of my guests are staying in jersey city at the Doubletree on Washington Blvd that weekend. I am currently planning the rehearsal dinner on July 4th (duh- no idea how hard that was going to be!) in JC.
We were thinking of an early dinner- 6-8 and then releasing our guests so they could watch the fireworks on the water front. The problem is, I live in Manhattan and have no idea if you can see the fireworks from Jersey City, and if you can, is it a total zoo like it is on the NYC side?
Anyone have any insight here?
