Choo Choo! Jumping on the AMA train!

I've got the evening to myself for a few hours and I need to be distracted.  So go ahead and ask me anything!

By the way, I have seen so many regulars come back to drop in and I love it!  I love everyone, but I noticed that some people aren't here anymore.  It's the normal progression of things, but I miss everyone who isn't here anymore!

  • What is your favorite desert?

Favorite Date you have ever been on?

How do you like to eat your fries?
  • My favorite desert has to be cupcakes.  I'm a sucker for the "gourmet" ones.

As bad as this is to say, my favorite date was probably the first date I had with one of my exes.  We met at a coffee shop around 5 in the evening.  It turned into dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and a midnight movie and we didn't end up parting ways until 2am.  It was just an amazing date because we clicked so well at the time.  If it wasn't for the attempt at romance, we probably could have been good friends.

I like my fries with a mixture of ketchup and something spicy. Or ketchup and soy sauce.  I love spicy food so I try to add it to almost everything I eat.

  • what a nice date! That sounds amazing!

ketchup and soy sauce, hmmmm. sounds interesting, I will have to try it sometime! My BF LOVES spicy food
  • Ketchup and soy sauce is something that I can use as a condiment for just about anything that requires a condiment.  Then again, I add soy sauce to like 80% of the things I eat just because I can.

  • I met BF when the sportfishing boat he worked on rented the slip next to my workplace.  I thought he was extremely good looking, but I thought he lived too far away to even consider anything.  We went on a couple of really awkward first dates and decided we'd be better as friends.  Another friend told me a few weeks later that he was interested in another friend of mine and I decided that no one else could have him.  And now here we are three and a half years later, living together in our own place with a cat and a dog.  If we hadn't decided to be friends, I don't think we would be together.

What do I love most about him...hmm...it's hard to pick one thing.  I think what I love most about him is he believes in me and is willing to support me in whatever I decide to do in life.  What I love least is easy.  The gas.  Oh lord the gas.

  • How do you spend time with your family?

    What is your favorite book?

What is the weirdest thing about you?

    What is your earliest memory?
  • I spend time with my family either by visiting them once every few months and just sitting at their house or at a giant family get-together which happens on holidays.  It's just a lot of sitting around and talking/eating.

My favorite book has to be The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien.  There's just so much that goes on and the imagery it creates is just wonderful and breathtaking.

The weirdest thing about me that I can think of off the top of my head is that whether it is a paper towel or tissue, I always fold it before I use it.  I also make animal noises at animals when we drive past them.

My earliest memories (as validated by my parents and I'm not sure which came first) are when I was about 2ish.  I was hiding behind a pink curtain my parents used to separate the hallway from the living room and I was crying because I didn't want to go to my grandparents house.  I have another one where I was crying because my parents took me to see Beauty and the Beast in theaters and the Beast scared the bejeezus out of me and it was loud.  The last one was that I got a 101 Dalmatians shirt that had one purple sleeve and one blue-green sleeve and a pink tutu-esque bottom that had dalmatians on it.  The rest of the shirt was white.  I'm not sure about which of those came first, but those are my earliest memories.

  • I do it to sheep, cows, horses, cats, dogs, etc.  If I can make the noise, 9 times out of 10 I will.
