Thank goodness! I only have 2 more days of work to get through! I am still feeling sick, which is no fun. I can make it thru the day, thanks to medication, but I just have no energy! My body wants to sleep :-P

Other than that, things are going well! I am so glad it is almost the weekend! Hope everyone has a great day!

I hope my Secret Santa doesn't get upset with me, but I haven't picked out a gift yet.  Hopefully tonight.

I have to try to find a new PCP today.  When I went to mine the other day, it was only the second time that I had been there (I had had to choose a new one when mine retired last spring).  It was the first time I had been there in the evening, and I saw the Nurse Prac, who is the evening doc and who I would normally be seeing.  I really, really felt like she wasn't listening to me at all and she became very patronizing at one point.  I was really, really uncomfortable with her and realized I had no faith in her as a physician.  To me, a physician that doesn't listen to a patient is pointless.  So, now I get to find a new one.  Yay (not!).

Yay for Secret Santa gifts!  I'll be mailing mine very soon.  I stopped at the post office yesterday to get a box and holiday stamps, and stood in line for a half hour!  It was ridiculous. 

Definitely find another doctor Shannon.  I am constantly changing, I can't seem to find people that I like.  Though the oncologist/hemotologist I saw last year for anemia was the most patient, caring man I've ever met.  I guess I'm good if I ever get cancer.

Good Morning...

We got our cat, Moxie, back last night from the vet.  The vet said she's urinating crystals so she associates the litter box with pain.  They said the only thing they can really do for her is to put her on a special diet which means we have to go back to having a 'feeding time' for the cats instead of just having a container of food out all day long for them to graze.  This should be interesting being that Moxie is our shyest of cats and we go hours without seeing her.  Not to mention that the special food is about $30 for an 8 pound bag so we just can't get all the cats to eat the special food.  They'll eat us out of house and home!   Poor Moxie.

Morning! Jbee - hope you feel better soon. I've still got the scratchy throat and feel whiped out all the time.

I went spinning last night, and while I ate enough not to be sore today (ok, I think I ate everything in sight when I got home last night), my legs still feel like jelly. I am rocking flats today :P

Our shiny new tv arrived yesterday evening while I was at the gym - DH was setting it up when I got home, and was like a little kid with a new toy, lol.

And SLM - GL finding a new doctor!  I finally have found an awesome PCP and wouldn't change him for the world! I know what it's like to have doctors not listen to you.  It's so incredibly frustrating!

Dicer - that's crazy about the Post Office!  I avoid that place at ALL costs!

B. insisted that 46" was the absolute minimum size that he could handle, so that's what it is. lmao - somehow he's lived without such a monstrosity his whole life (I thought 40" was more than big enough, but clearly got voted down). Now, the TV looks far too large for the TV stand, but we're not replacing that until we're ready for a new living room set. Sigh. Somehow the boy always creates more problems than he solves!

Oh, and big screen tv always causes more problems than it solves! Dave bought a 50 inch, and now he is obssessed with Blu-Rays and wants one. Sigh.

Molly, the funny thing is he questioned my buying boots last week, which was a planned purchase. But the Sam's Club Black Friday flier showed up in our mailbox, and all of a sudden we "had" to buy  such a steal of a tv (we weren't planning on getting one until next year). My boots were a whole lot cheaper, but somehow a much more $$$ purchase was completely justifiable.

So no, I wouldn't be impressed with a purse :P

Good morning!  Today's my birthday!  I get the day off work which I'm thankful for.  No clue what I'm doing today, but tonight FI, my parents & his parents and I are all going out to dinner.  So excited!  

I don't know how much I'll be on today.  I might just sleep all day, lol!

Good morning everyone! I'm so glad its Wednesday. This week has been so rough at work. I've been working so late that DH and I have had to postpone our Christmas decorating plans for 2 nights now. I just want to put our tree up!

hey_its: my cat had the same problem about a year ago. I was going to mention something about that in your post yesterday, but never managed to get back to it at work. My cat's problems went away really quickly after his meds/special food. Vibes to your cat!

Good morning all!  I've been busy catching up on lots of work all week.  Thanksgiving break at home was fun and busy, although we did meet with our priest and our florist for the first time- yay for getting some stuff accomplished!
