Help Me Avoid Schoolwork :)

Re: Help Me Avoid Schoolwork :)

  • Thats awesome that you have such a great treatment routine, Lizzie. I should really do more than just use moisturizer in the mornings, and start doing some eye cream or something.

Poke -- J was my first but like I mentioned, I definitely wasn't his, lol.

  • How long does it normally take for any of you to put make up on? I feel like my morning routine already takes forever (about 45 min) and it would probably add at least another 15 to do makeup. Just curious?

  • Actually, I have a TK etiquette question. My local board is coated in classified ads right now-it's 2 or 3 differebt SNs. The mod isn't around much, as far as i can tell. I'd kind of like the ads gone, is that awful? WWYD?

  • Yeah, I wash my face every time I wear make up.

Ugh, H is talking to me on the phone while he plays a game. He is giving me detailed descriptions of the game. I really don't care, but I can't say that because I'll hurt his feelings.
  • Well. Hey there. Apparently you guys have been hiding in TK time warp. There's an entirely different evening thread going on. We'll see if I get sucked back in to the black hole or get to stay here with you lovelies. ::fingers crossed::
  • Musu, it takes me no more than 5-10 minutes (depending on how good I want to look) to do a full face of makeup. It takes me longer than that just to blow dry my hair, haha.

</div><div>I have to say that I use Olay, and I'm pretty impressed with it. There are different versions depending on age and desired effects. I also like the cost.</div><div>
</div><div>The regenerist line is what I use, but it might be too strong for you, (I don't know how old you are, but judging from your pics you'e not 30 yet.) but I like how I can apply the treatment and after aminute of so I don't feel like I have a ton of goop on my face. It's so light!  Anyway, Olay has a nice sized line.  I think that their web site has one of those "find the right product for you" apps or something.</div><div>

  • The classifieds aren't really against TOS, zizi. I'm the mod at my local and we have a sticky for people to post their classifieds but if we didn't people would probably post them there anyway.

<div>It takes me less time than that. I generally put on some powder foundation, eye shadow, and lipstick unless I'm going for a more made up look. Then I'll add blush, eye liner, and mascara. </div>
  • Thanks for the input, Lizzie! I'm 23 so not sure if regenerist is great yet.

  • Musu, it takes me maybe 2 minutes. I just wear concealer under my eyes and mascara during the day. If I go to dinner with friends or out for a drink it'll take closer to 15 minutes for the whole shebang but for mornings, yea just 2 minutes.

</div><div>I average 15 minutes, just for daily make-up. If I'm going party/dressy mode, about a half hour 45 minutes, tops.</div><div>
    </div><div>Yet I still feel like I resemble a transvestite.</div>
  • I guess it wouldn't take me that long if i just put on some concealer or foundation and then mascara or something. But I don't think that makes me look that different so its not worth the effort in my mind, haha. I dunno. I am so apathetic.

</div><div>No. Too strong. Check out their basic line though. I used to work for Chanel...I prefer Olay over Chanel.</div>

  • Hey Jill! :)TK has been time warping today.
    image
  • Well my eyelashes are practically see through without mascara so that makes a huge difference for me. And I look like a zombie without concealer. I rarely wear powder of any sort although when I had mineral powder I loved it. I just haven't been able to afford to buy it again this past year.
  • I must have made it into the alternate universe now...I'd commented on an evening thread but I don't know where it went. :/

I lurked on the afternoon thread, and all of the discussion earlier about hotboxing reminded me of this picture that DH and I took a while back, at the Tulsa Zoo.
I still haven't the slightest idea what "hotbox" meant in this context, but it was quite...*ahem*...appropriate, as we had taken the trip to Tulsa to listen to Roger Waters perform the Wall, and had been doing this very thing all weekend, and specifically, 5 minutes before in the car. Aaaaah, memories.
  • lol seesaw that is kinda funny.

I like mineral powder for when I do wear foundation too, Aryn.

  • I need to take a nap, but I feel like it's too late. I'm wiped out today for some reason.

H had a double header for his men's league today, and we're going out afterwards.
  • I just time warped from the alternate universe.  I'm so confused.

  • Yeah, I hate this alternate universe crap.

  • Eeeeek Change of plans and I meet with A on Friday! I'm going to be so disappointed if I build this up and he has turned into a douche canoe.

Also, SeeSaw, that's kind of awesome.

    In the alternate universe.

I just said that I'm so used to working out at home that I forgot that wearing gray tights to the gym is a bad idea.  Butt/crotchsweat at home is NBD, but it is not ok in public.

  • I just time warped here too. This thread is much more active!

Musical, I don't wear face make-up. I wear mascara, eyeliner, and MAYBE eyeshadow if I'm feeling it. I do have a rather intense skin care routine, but I don't bother with foundation. I hate how heavy it feels.
