This is probably NOT where I should be posting this. But I'm in a really raunchy mood, and figured you bidies would tell it to me straight.
Would it be completely tacky to go to the craft store and make my own invites?
Saturday night, formal sit down dinner with reception immediately following the ceremony at the venue.
FI and I were supposed to make a decision on invites today, before he left for his business trip. But ONCE AGAIN, Delta f*cked him good, cancelled his flight home from Charleston SC yesterday, so he was forced to rent a car and drive to Ohio. Considering we have 75 days til the wedding, I figured we really can't wait anymore.
this will probably seem a lot less annoying/important to me after a few drinks, but in the meantime...thoughts, comments, wwyd?
Re: WR-invites
I got a DIY box set from Target and I thought they turned out really nice. We had fun with the font, added a ribbon and did some embossing to make them more personal.

I personally like DIY IF, and this is a big IF, you are good at it. Michaels and other places also have invite kits that you (or a local printer) print the info on. And they are fairly in-expensive. If you're a wal-marter, sometimes they have good deals on clearance invites that look nice. Just some suggestions.
My BFF bought invite kits on sale and had a printing company do the printing and I thought they looked super nice.

I do like the embossing idea, makes regular cards look kinda' fancy. So, I'm gonna head over to Michaels.

I think it's just slang for girls. I usually hear it used in refrence to old women "old bidies"
[QUOTE]Cew, I think she meant old biddies.

lol, it actually means chicken or newly hatched chick. But me + my friends like to think of it as a combination of lady + bitch...in a good way.
thanks for the help ladies, sorry I didn't answer right away. I literally ran out to Michaels, and AC Moore an Joann's...where I actually found some cool centerpices! :)
