  • Abba, I confess that I have also been addicted to Kitty Glitter at one point.  Sigh.

[QUOTE]I confess that my FI says i have ' Only child syndrome'. code for im being selfish or spoiled. i confess that I started crying while driving to walmart today because I have 7 weeks left before the wedding and im stressed out I confess that It doesn't take much for me to loose my temper. wow i just confessed to people ive never talked to!!

Isn't it wonderful? Why do you think we're all so obsessed with this place? :) I find it much easier to confess to knotties than real life friends, even if I sometimes feel judged more.

  • Nebb, you just made my confession for me... I too don't want to settle for a new job after working so hard at my last one.  I also confess that I don't mind sitting home collecting unemployment insurance because I contributed to society for many years.  (that sounds horrible I know)  I also confess that I am planning a wedding that I have know idea how I am paying for and I keep thinking I will get a job and it will just work out.

  • I would whit, but I cant bring myself to do it.... I just cant. I may never use them again but i just cant bring myself to throw them out. I will rationalize this by saying I spent lots of money on them, I dont want animals to accidently eat them at the dump, etc. I just dont want to give them up just yet just incase...

    Im an idiot.
  • Jk I get that too.

I confess im horribly annoyed with T becuse I just checked the mail and we have 3 new Christmas cards from his family and he refuses to open them and its bugging me. Silly but still
  • My parents are going through a huge rough patch right now, and it's so stressful to be around them.  I guess they had a big fight and my mom feels like she doesn't matter.  Well, I can tell that my dad has been trying, and she's just brushing it off.  I feel so bad for my dad, and just want to slap my mom.
  • I also confess that we got tons of baby stuff for xmas and I'm totally grateful, but now I'm getting scared shitless.  I can feel the baby moving more and more and this is all turning really REAL.

  • I'll also confess that I'm kind of relying on losing weight or at least working out a little bit to help our sex life. Like sucrets said, the longer we go without it the less I miss it, so it's a vicious cycle. I just keep telling myself that if I feel healthier and more attractive I'll want it more.

Random question: Those of you with dogs/puppies that you crate trained: Do you crate the dog for sex?  It seems weird, but i don't know what else to do, he's still too puppiesh and chewy to leave alone for that long.

  • Yeah we crated him at night, and generally only have sex at night so it was pretty muh the same thing, We didnt let him sleep with us or out of the crate for well over a year.
  • Nebb, I wish I could fly to you and dump them for you :(

  • Buy a kong and put bread and cheese in it it will give you atleast a half hour.  Our dog will bark in the crate if we are in there.  Crate is in the bedroom... Try this.

Nebb, I completely understand this -- I kept a bottle of Hydroxycut (with Ephedra) from my freshman year of college in my desk for 2 or 3 years.  It was almost like a safety blanket, that it was "there if I needed it"... regardless of the fact that it caused seizures, liver damage, and death.

    1000% not worth it.
  • I know.. I know theyre bad and I know I shouldnt even consider but I just cant bring myself to throw them out. You can feel free to fly up and do it though, if you want!!
  • I've never had a dog and that seems like the super-bizarrest question ever, tlv! I'm sure it's not, though, it just seems that way to a cat person!
  • I can't have sex if the cat is in the room.  It totally creeps me out.

Ha sun I'm sure it does sound weird. But like JK said, I couldn't do it with him in the room and we don't trust him to roam the house on his own yet. Last time we did that he ate my shoe :(

He has kongs but for some reason they don't keep him occupied for that long. We also crate him at night but rarely have sex at night because of H's wonky work schedule, I'm usually passed out by the time he gets home. And his crate isn't in our bedroom. He still might cry if it's during the day and he knows we're still at home, but it's far enough away from the bedroom that I think we could ignore it :)

PS- This is a pretty tremendous confessions thread if I do say so myself.

We kick the cats out of the bedroom. They meow/scratch at the door the entire time, which makes it pretty hilarious.

EDIT: Tlv - A friend of mine used to let her dog stay in the room while she had sex w/ her husband, but one time the dog licked my friend's naked ass during it. Ever since then, the dog gets the boot!

  • Tlv- I can't remember what we did when he was apuppy, I'm pretty sure we probably put him in his crate though...
  • Wow kong is FI best friend...For some reason I can't ignore the crying during sex.  Have you tried putting Peanut Butter in kong and then freezing it, I hear that works

  • sucrets, that's kinda the plan.  I think he'd be happy to see me lounging around the house in it, because I wear a lot of my favorite t-shirts around the house.

Brie - Anything that combines gemstones and kitties is A-OK in my book.

Re: animals in the room during sex - we almost never close the bedroom door.  If we ever have it closed, our cat will meow and bang on the door from the hallway.  We've started getting it on when she's been in there, and trust me, she does not stay for very long after that happens!

Okay, I have a confession. While I am very sad about my friend's passing today, something about people writing all over his FB wall about how much they'll miss him, and how great of a person he was, and that he is in a better place now just rubs me the wrong way. I'm not sure why, but I don't think it's the right place to write things like that. I understand that different people having different coping strategies when it comes to dealing with death, but it doesn't sit well with me.

  • Heh nope! The government decided to be douchebags and took my last spare 300$, im still sore over that. Ill just leave a pile of junk ontop of the pills and try to forget theyre there. Thats almost as good as throwing them out.
  • Oh another confession. I totally admit to judging my friend last night when I went to her new "house;" it's a trailer. They made 90K for a trailer. The house FI and I want is half that, with just as much size and land but in a different neighborhood.

GG - One of my friends from HS father died last week.  Someone put a very nice post on the son's FB wall about his dad, etc.  And then someone else "liked" it.  Totally turned my stomach.

EDIT: So I definitely agree with you that FB is not necessarily the place for all of those sentiments.
  • Julez - That is a bit odd!

I'll add to my confession that while that stuff doesn't sit well with me, I can't stop refreshing the page to read what people have written.

  • Yeah Leo likes kongs, he actually prefers pumkin to peanut butter apparently, and we always freeze them otherwise he would make a huge mess, he just gets distracted too easily. Also he has too many toys. I think we may be giving him ADD.
