It depends if you just want a favor that just "fits the theme", or if you want it to be something your guests will actually like/take home/keep/use/not throw away.
I would personally go with an edible favor for your particular wedding. People probably will not want princess / fairy-tale themed things around their house. Specialized candies, truffles, drink packets, a regional goody - that sort of thing.
Well Princess and the Frog is set in New Orleans so maybe your favors could represent something from that city? She also wants to open up a restaurant so maybe some kitchen stuff... recipe book with recipes from New Orleans?
I don't know I'm really just throwing out some ideas here but I am starting to like that recipe book idea. It's useful, represents the movie, something both men and women can use and it's not a tacky pricessy item that will collect dust in a box somewhere. The cover can be an illustration from the movie. I think it would be cute if you found one where the get married still as frogs and you just put your and FI's names with your wedding date.
I like the receipe book. I would probably also use a deck of cards. You could alternate princess ones and frog ones, so the guys would have normal ones. Although I think I would do frogs and then maybe make a crown shaped tag or tag with a princess feel to put on them.
If you are having kids come, you could definately give the girls princess wands from a dollar store or something. They would probably love it.
I saw a frog wine bottle holder. The bottle sits slightly under level so that the cork is pointing down towards the frog's mouth. Saw it yesterday at Bed Bath and Beyond. Might be fun for your guests if they enjoy wine and want a frog-themed item.
July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

I normally don't like bubbles- but in this case, I think it sort of goes with the whole "princess" thing \
