Outdoor Wedding Venue

Looking for a wedding venue where we can have our ceremony outdoors and the reception indoors (near Richmond)? Ofcourse, all while staying within a tight budget!!! Anyone have any ideas?

    Have you tried the Valentine History Center in Richmond? They have a bit of a space limit, only about 90 people inside, but it is a gorgeous venue. Also, Maymont is a great choice. You can always get a large tent for "Just-in-Case" weather problems.

    Maymont is pretty, but very expensive. What about the Edgar Allen Poe museum? They have a nice garden area.

    Thanks for all the ideas! I had spoke with a lady at The Manor House at King's Charter. The price is $2500 for the time of year we want to get married. That includes tables, chairs, outdoor and indoor venue. That price seemed fairly reasonable. Has anyone had any experience there? I recently lost my full time job so I'm trying to cut my budget and still have a nice wedding. :'( Hope it all works out.
