breezes in the bahamas

Has anyone been to the all-inclusive Breezes resort in the bahamas?  we are thinking about going there but were worried because we had heard it was run down....

    we were just wondering cause we heard it was an older place and kinda run down so if you could just tell us what you think iit was overall it would be much appreciated

    It was just remodeled (or, at least the tower we stayed in) so I didn't really see anything that was rundown or in disrepair.  It isn't a good place to go during spring break unless you are like DH and myself and aren't bothered by drunk college kids.  We were last there in March and there were a ton of spring breakers staying.

    The pool was immaculate, the beach was well maintained, the food was decent for an AI and the drinks were strong.  The staff was polite and accommodating.  The room was always clean when we went back in the afternoon and only once did I see anything remotely resembling a spill that wasn't cleaned up right away.

    I'm not going to lie and say that I don't see how people were bothered by spring breakers but it just didn't bother us and the other couples we met while we were there.  We had a great time and have gone back once already and are planning to spend New Years there this year too.

    yeah we really like the pics we seen online and are thinking about the honeymoon package but we just wanted to make sure cause the travel agent said it was an older place and read some bad reviews but everyone has their opinion but we are really considering goin there it looks beautiful! and i apprectiate you telling me what you think of it

    I have heard great things from people who have been there and we recently booked our August honeymoon there :o)
