Wedding Party

2 Sisiters No MOH??

I have 2 sisters and my fiance has 2 brothers. We are going to limit our wedding party to just them. I dont want to designate one sister as MOH and the other as a bridesmaid. Neither of them are married, although my older sister is engaged. What should i call them?

Re: 2 Sisiters No MOH??

  • You can have two MOHs or two bridesmaids, no MOH.  Whether they're married or not only affects if they are called Maid of Honor or Matron of Honor.  My MOH (married) hates the word matron so I called her my best girl.  :)

  • Ditto Girlie.  You can call them both maids of honor or bridesmaids.

    This.
  • I have two sisters and it was kind of understood that neither would be a MOH bc at each of our weddings we didn't want to decide who would be a MOH and who would be a BM. None of us got our feelings hurt.
  • I would make them either both MOH, or both BM. Then have them alternate tasks, like one stands next to you during the ceremony, the other sits next to you at dinner.
