 the New Year is here on this side of the pond!  The yachts are already honking the horns and we can see the fireworks in Antibes and Nice from the balcony!

    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

     It's 7pm here, that is a respectable time to start drinking. Hopfully I will not be too drunk by the time DH gets home.

    awesome.  They do that here also.  The USCG gets pissed and makes announcements on channel 16.

    Granted there are a lot of boats traveling from Jost back to the USVI and every year there are a few boats who really do need help.  So I see their point.  But still it's fun to see.
