Post your wedding for sale items here please!

Fellow Knotties--- in order to help clear the clutter of the post that are only selling items used at weddings, I am going to create this sticky for people to browse through. I ask that once the items are sold, you come back and delete your post or edit it to say what you have left. I am allowing posts to remain for 6 months, and then they will be deleted. If you wish to repost it after I delete it, feel free.

Thank you and good luck on selling!

Each piece of my wedding was carefully selected from other brides and antique stores.  I used a combination of milk glass vases, books, candles, and flowers to complete an elegant, vintage wedding on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country.  Here's a picture of how it looked together:

I was married last spring at Barr Mansion and have several things that I've been meaning to unload (updated 5/31):

    LINENS:
    (1) Square Ottoman Cover: 4ft x 4ft, white, with subtle striping: $15

I bought this from Marquee Events during their moving sale last year. We built our own ottoman for less than $20 and saved $ on something that we used for approximately 45 minutes during the cocktail hour!  It’s in relatively good shape, with just a few imperfections here and there. I can’t find any noticeable stains but there is one small snag/rough spot (approximately 1”) on the fabric located near a bottom side panel. Here are some close-ups of the fabric and the rough spot:

When used, the cover looks like this:

    http://www.marqueerents.com/index.php?crn=553&rn=1624&action=show_detail

    (6) Cocktail Table Linens – 120”, pale pink/blush, $25 for all 6

These were also bought at the Marquee sale. We used them for both tall & seated cocktail tables. They will need to be steamed and I found what looks like drink ring stains on three of them. They can be dry cleaned or used with an overlay.  Unfortunately, I can’t find a very good close up pic of the tables, but here’s my attempt at a close up of the fabric and a pic of the tables during the event:

    DECOR:

    (4) Iron Metal Lanterns; $8 apiece

I bought these at Pier One, used only for the wedding. A couple of them have some residual wax on the inside that can be easily cleaned off.

Same lantern seen here, but in brown, not black (small lantern): http://www.pier1.com/Catalog/Seasonal/tabid/975/CategoryId/92/ProductId/6727/ProductName/Black-Metal-Lanterns/Default.aspx

(~30-40) Assorted Glassware – mason jars, colored jars/votive holders in pink, green, yellow, $15 for the whole assortment ------ SOLD

I have a mix of glassware that we used for our reception tables.  It includes an assortment of mason jars in different sizes and things we picked up at thrift stores and Michaels.

    (7) Muslin Runners – approximately 10’ ft x 6” each –FREE----SOLD

These are simple strips of muslin that we used as table runners for six of our 8’ banquet tables. We frayed the sides for a rustic look.

The runners, glassware and lanterns during the reception:

    (1) Iron Birdcage (used as a card holder) – brown iron, $5 ----SOLD

Top lifts up for easy card storage.

    (1) Table Number Holder – $10 ---- SOLD

My husband made this based on something I saw on a wedding blog.  It worked with the rest of our rustic, organic décor.  We affixed the table seating charts to the chicken wire with tiny clothespins that we purchased at Michaels. The bottom part has enough room to place several flower pots.

    DIY

    (1) Gocco PG-10 - $200

We made all of our own paper products with this guy.  Comes with everything you need, including four master screens and an assortment of 13 inks. I can share some photos of our invitations/Gocco if you’re interested, as well as some tips on how to make the process easier. We had a lot of fun making our own paper goodies and saved some money in doing so.

Please mail if interested: vbmorales AT gmail. I'm happy to share more pics or information. Thanks! -Vanessa

    Hello!

I am moving at the end of the month and I have a few wedding items for sale:

1 birdcage that I used as a card box. $15

    1 ivory bouquet holder. $10

Bride and Groom chair ties/signs.  $20

I also have 5 dozen 2X8 photo booth photo strip frames that were left over from our wedding favors.  That is the size of photo strip that Max Photo Studio uses.  I am selling them at $10 per dozen.

I have table numbers for 13 tables, with different swatches of fabric in small silver frames.  I also have more of each fabric that I used for making table numbers from the Martha Stewart website.  I will sell the table numbers and the extra fabric for $30.  I am selling the punches needed to make the escort cards for $20 total.

Here was what one of my display boards looked like.

I am selling the two fabric-covered foam boards for $5.
I am willing to negotiate on prices, and I'm hoping to sell everything before I leave on the 26th.

It has not been worn. Still has tags. Its a strapless, taffeta, very light and flattering dress. Great for spring, summer, or fall. It is an Alfred Angelo Style R2034 dress. Already has bustle.

The woman at the store told me that this style dress would allow for it to be "let out" up to two sizes, so that someone up to size 6 or maybe even 8 would be able to wear this dress. It is diamond white color. I loved how simple and elegant the dress was, but I did pay to have alterations done to the back. I had the back dropped 4 buttons down to give it a more dramatic flare. It turned out perfectly. I paid $500 plus $200 for bustle and alterations.

The only reason I am selling the dress is because 4 weeks before our wedding we lost our wedding venue and had to change everything! So bummed about losing everything, I decided to go with a different dress to go with the change in our venue. It really is perfect and beautiful. Below are some pictures from the website. Please don't hesitate to email for more info or to see it.

I have just gotten back from our honeymoon and really need to clean the house!  I have created a page to sell some wedding item that I don't need.  If it works out, I don't mind meeting up with anyone to avoid shipping costs.

Also, I have 38 glass heart bowls that I didn't post since I don't think I can wrap them well enough to ship.  We filled them with candy on each table.  They hold about a 1/2 lb of jelly bellies.  Maybe a little more.  $30 for those.  No shipping, only pick up.

Email me at emily_woods@live.com if you are interested in any of the items.

    Thanks!
