AZ isn't too hard on the arms for winter, but I picked up a London Fog Wind Breaker for $19.99 @ Sam's Club....in Black, with brown buttons

YES! Okay, I will go look for a new cute one.

I already have the following:

Black leather cropped jacket
Read pea coat
Red long coat/Gray long coat--my work/dress-up coats
Black trench that has a full skirt (think 50s circle dress type skirt)
Champagne puffy coat with fur hood for snow (from Kohl's, Ricks).

I want a tan trench. I will search for a cute one now.

I like trench coats, and it doesn't have giant metal studs coming out of the shoulders or anytthing, so I still wear it =D

I LOVE H&M coats. They are always warm, but streamlined. My long gray coat is H&M and the best trenches I've ever had are from there, too.

I've gotten distracted by this Kohls site!

Pas- The shoulder straps were way to long, and the quality was terrible. I could tailor it, but the fabric is so shabby that it's not even worth it. Oh well.

Thanks Ang & Julez. That coat is just right for Austin winters. The only thing I wish was that the belt would stay tied. It doesn't, so I just end up stuffing the ends in the pockets.

I have a shorter black pea coat I bought at Old Navy for $40 years ago, but it is covered in old cat hair from FI's old apt. Maybe I should get it dry cleaned.

What are these "coats" you speak of, and what are they used for?

J/K. I had to buy a coat when I lived in Scotland, and I got one at TopShop and it had a furry hood and little fur balls hanging from it. It is the cutest thing in the world, but I don't ever get to wear it anymore.

Get it, Ricks! I can't--I have too many as is. I can only justify a tan trench because it will be my fall/spring jacket and I'll get a lot of use out of it wearing it to work everyday.
